President of Sakura International visit GBAC headquarters in the U.S. to exchange views on future development in Japan

GBAC STAR
This summer, our president, Mr. Ken Myohdai and Maki visited the headquarters of GBAC (Global Biorisk Advisory Council) in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois during his business trip to the United States.

We are accredited as an agency of GBAC in Japan, and provide publicity activities for the GBAC STARTM program, in which professionals in infectious diseases such as specialized doctors and researchers at universities audit and accredit the infection control measures of facilities, as well as fee-based consulting services for application upon request from the clients.

Unfortunately, the GBAC headquarters was under renovation, so we were unable to enter the office, but Executive Director Patty Olinger arranged for us to meet over lunch at a local steakhouse.

In addition to Executive Director Olinger, GBAC analysts Katrina and Hanna, who have been working on many projects in Japan, came all the way from their homes while teleworking, making the meeting very exciting.

We actively exchanged opinions on a variety of topics, such as whether it would be possible to conduct online seminars in Japan, which were attended by hundreds of companies, despite being in the COVID-19 disaster area.

Depending on the future situation of the COVID-19 in Japan, Sakura International would like to invite Executive Director Olinger to Japan as early as later this year so that more people can learn about the GBAC STAR™ program, which assists facilities and businesses in their infectious disease control with scientific support.

As soon as the details are finalized, we will report them on our website and in our mail magazine.
Please wait for further news.
