The strain of COVID-19 has had a major impact on our lives for almost three years and things are finally changing now. First, as of March 13, 2023, a government policy was introduced to leave it up to individuals to make their own decisions regarding the wearing of masks. On May 8, the classification of COVID-19 under the Infectious Diseases Control Act will be changed to Category 5, the same as seasonal influenza. We hope that these changes will lead to a more relaxed relationship between COVID-19 and us.

By the way, this is a point that is often misunderstood: GBAC STAR is not only for COVID-19, but also for various infectious diseases. For example, O-157, norovirus, influenza, etc. Until now, the most important issue has been to deal with COVID-19, but from now on, it will be necessary to change the perspective a little.

There are effective measures that are common to various infectious diseases. That is cleaning including disinfection. GBAC STAR recommends “cleaning for health. Not just to look pretty and smell nice, but to contribute to the health/wellness/resilience of the facility, based on professional knowledge. And we will work to maintain that condition for the long term.

Cleaning for health is, of course, aesthetically pleasing to the eyes, but it also minimizes the number of things that are harmful to your body, resulting in fewer infections and promoting the health and well-being of visitors to your facility. Infectious diseases can break out and spread suddenly and without warning, as was the case with the SARS outbreak that centered in Hong Kong and China about 20 years ago and COVID-19 recently. We believe that always being the best prepared is the ultimate hospitality and care for visitors to the facility.

The time has come of cleaning for health. We wonder you might have some concerns as the environment changes. In such a case, please do not hesitate to contact us!
