A Gigantic Canon EOS R3 Camera Appeared in Ikebukuro.

REAL EVENT

We were privileged to help Canon create an identical structure to Canon’s full-size mirrorless camera “EOS R3” but scaled to 14 times its original size of 2.1mH x 3.6mL x 2.1mW.

The structure was made by utilizing 3D printer technologies and special painting/coating technology which has a higher reproducibility. The lens curvature and the texture of the camera, lens and buttons are all almost identical to the real thing. Displayed at an outdoor event in Ikebukuro, the finished structure amazed many passerby who saw the camera taking photos and posting on social networking apps.
