We supported Sea Japan 2022, the first Sea Japan event in four years!

| Japan’s largest international maritime industry exhibition Sea Japan returned after a four year hiatus. In 2020, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), in cooperation with various maritime industries and public organizations, created a roadmap toward zero emissions in international shipping. This year’s Sea Japan was an exciting gathering of various companies and institutions from maritime industries from Japan and abroad. These companies and institutions gathered under the mantra of environmental protection through zero emissions in the maritime industry, and DX; the exploration of new possibilities of enviromental protection through digital technology. We were commissioned by the organizer Informa Markets Japan Co., Ltd. to provide venue decoration, exhibition secretariat, stage program operation, and exhibitor support services. |
| The stage event were a great success with programs on the main theme of Zero Emission and DX, seminars by various industry-leading companies, as well as a program commemorating Bali Ship 2023, a seperate event that is to be held in Imabari, the largest maritime city in Japan. In addition to the main exhibition an open-house event was held at the Ariake West Wharf next to Tokyo Big Sight, where industry members and the general public, including many families and children, learned the importance of marine survey systems for securing fresh fish and seaweed on board the Japan Coast Guard survey vessel Heiyo, the state-of-the art vessel commissioned for the first time in 22 years. For exhibitors who have long been waiting for the opportunity to present their new technologies and/or services and for visitors who were seeking new supplier information to meet changing market needs, Sea Japan 2022 provided a valuable opportunity to renew old partnerships and create new business relations. We look forward to contributing to the next Sea Japan. |
