Introduction

Having been in business for over 40 years we have an enviable track record.
Here is just a small selection of the many projects we have successfully completed in Japan and worldwide.
From general contracting work for the whole event to custom build stands we have done it all.

There is a very good reason why the biggest names in the industry work with us, we make it happen on time and budget no matter what.

contracting know-how and extensive supplier connections, as well as the ability to

Never one to turn away from a challenge, Sakura International did all of this inhouse

backed by a Local Arrangements Committee.
Balancing the competing needs and expectations of both sides is all part of the dayʼs
work for Sakura International, and this one was no different.
Even a typhoon making a direct hit on the venue on a Sunday night didnʼt stop our
team from getting everything ready to go first thing on Monday morning.

happen.
Using our excellent local supplier network, we were able to pull together the help we
needed to deliver on time and budget, regardless of the tight schedule.

The Welsh Government shipped out this unique display and contracted Sakura
International to manage the setup and make sure the project received all the
necessary authorizations to go ahead.
In a country like Japan, where standards and regulations are very different to
Europe, this can be a challenge. Regardless, as an experienced mega-event operator,
we made it happen.
This experience proved invaluable for the Olympics which took place in 2021, where
Sakura International assisted in multiple high-profile projects.

Gastech

Venue Makuhari Messe
Dates 4-7 April, 2017
Size 160㎡
Scope of Work

Booth conceptualization & design
Compliance planning
Production
Onsite construction

SUMMARY:

This stunning booth stood out even amongst the exceptional standards of
decoration at the Gastech Tokyo show.
It may seem counterintuitive, but making the booth entirely in neutral white made an
even bigger impact than vivid colour.
On top of that, the stand was completely closed to maintain confidentiality and so
required installation of both fire prevention equipment and air conditioning.
A headache for the production planning team, but the clients were ecstatic with the
results.
The only downside was the organizers would not allow us to go ahead with the
planned private toilet!

Sibos

thereafter.
In fact, MUFG has been our main bank since the company was incorporated so it was
a special honour to do this stand.
The design concept here uses MUFGʼs corporate colour of red as a base while
featuring Japanese and local elements in the graphics, to ensure easy recognition for
the guests.
This image has become their trademark thanks to our conceptualization work, and
anyone going to SIBOS now will instantly recognize the MUFG booth.

Some of Japanʼs biggest corporations turn to Sakura International to make sure their
overseas events are planned and delivered to the same standards they would expect
in Japan.
Toyota is one of those corporations and we have been collaborating with them both
domestically and internationally for many years.
We had a huge team of 25 staff in Singapore for this show, doing projects for both
Japanese and foreign (Out-out) exhibitors.
The Toyota booth was not large, but used the vertical space effectively to create an
arresting image in the hall.
As one of the main sponsors for the show it wouldnʼt do to have an uninspiring
booth, so our multilingual project managers made sure Toyota was well represented.

stands.
Sakura International has been doing this work, in particular at this show, for more than
20 years, so we know what we are doing.
The Italian pavilion is the largest at this show with over 120 individual exhibitors.
Managing this requires the skills of our Organizer Support team, as well as our native
Italian staff to ensure smooth communication and guarantee each exhibitor gets
exactly the right equipment and furnishings they need for their booth.
Note that despite appearances this is actually a modular structure, designed to meet
the tight move-in and move-out schedule.
